History of Minnesota Mediation
Aaron Hall worked for seven years as a lobbyist at the Minnesota Legislature. He observed the mistrust among legislators and how their failure to resolve issues led to gridlock at the Capitol.
Later, Aaron Hall represented parties in divorce and family law proceedings and business lawsuits. Again, Aaron observed disputes and the unnecessary pain and expense caused by the parties’ failure to be reasonable and find a compromise. He observed how parties would spend $50,000 in legal fees to fight over a $1,000 item. In other words, people would cut off their nose to spite their face.
Mediation is far more satisfying than litigation, because often mediation results in people resolving their differences and moving on. Through mediation, people save money, reduce stress and anxiety, and escape the bitter gridlock that holds them back.
Based on these experiences, Aaron Hall founded Minnesota Mediation, a division of the Twin Cities Law Firm, dedicated to helping parties find resolution.
Mr. Hall’s background in family law and business law, provides the backdrop for helping parties realize the expense of courtroom litigation and instead find resolution in a mutually agreeable outcome through mediation.
